VelaClock is a comprehensive world clock application tailored for the needs of photographers and outdoor enthusiasts. This versatile tool offers detailed information such as sunrise, sunset, dawn, dusk, moon phase, tilt, and more. Notably, VelaClock was highlighted as the featured app on TUAW.com on 3/11/2011.

Catering to globetrotters and professionals managing international communications, VelaClock facilitates scheduling across various time zones. Users can effortlessly access time and sun/moon data for their current location (via network or GPS), a wide array of cities worldwide (featuring over 500 locations), or custom user-defined positions with specified latitude/longitude details and time zones.

With a simple interface, VelaClock provides visual cues indicating whether a city is in daylight, twilight, or night. Clear distinctions are made with white text representing daylight and black text symbolizing nighttime. For cities experiencing twilight, a small colored rectangle serves as a visual indicator next to the time.

Additional features include a customizable city list displaying a daylight bar reflecting 24 hours of natural light variations. This feature offers a quick overview of bright daylight, different twilight phases, and nighttime. In addition, users can track moon visibility with the help of a thin white bar.

VelaClock offers users in-depth insights through a detailed view that includes horizontally scrollable pages showcasing sun, moon, and time zone specifics. Navigating through these pages is seamless with a simple swipe gesture across the screen.

Moreover, users have the flexibility to adjust the date and time using the calendar icon in the toolbar. This feature enables users to preview future occurrences like sunsets or full moons with precision.

It is worth noting that VelaClock operates without requiring a network connection and allows users to add up to 50 cities for easy reference.
